How to stop kittens from scratching and climbing plants?

I have a new kitten. I have had her for a week, but she is three months old. She is very nervous around people becasue she spent the first two months of her life on the street. In the last week she is getting more comfortable with my apartment, but she is starting to scratch and and trying to climb my plants resulting in their destructiuon. How can I try to stop her without completely stop her from ever bonding with me?

simple and easy, get a scratching post, and when you find her being naughty just put her next to het post. sooner or later she’ll get it!
