Climbing North Carolina

Boone, North Carolina hiking trail…Where is this?
We went to Boone for spring break one year…A friend showed us this awesome trail. It started off in the woods, we ended up at a river with lots of huge boulders. We started climbing up the edge of the river, eventually on the boulders. At the top we were told there was a waterfall with a swimming like hole. We didn’t go to the top because my dog is a bit too old for that. Well anyway now we don’t know how to find this place. Do these pictures remind you of a place? Some where around the Boone area. Thanks.

A couple of possibilities come to mind, but in that area, there are so MANY that even if you don’t go to the right one, you will have a good time anyhow.

Climbing the Himalayas of School Leadership: The Socialization of Early Career Administrators $67.1 Here, Carol Mullen uncovers vital information about the needs of the nation’s schools that can be reflected in program content and policy reform. She contends that in today’s education climate there exists an urgent call for university faculty to take responsibility for reforming university preparation programs. Otherwise, the least effective of these programs could be eliminated, as has already occurred in North Carolina. This book should help principal preparation programs that are behind the times to move forward. Such programs can thus be expected to be aligned not only with the expectations of universities, policymaking bodies, and the public, but also with school districts and practicing school leaders. |
