Climbing Hoodie
What should a 22 year old wear to work?
I am a nanny to a 16 month old (fully mobile, walking running climbing!) and a crawling, pulling up 10 month old.
We do things like go to the grocery store, run errands, and go to the park.
Right now I’m stuck in a jeans, tee shirt and flats or sneakers rut. Sometimes when its cooler a sweatshirt or hoodie.
I am 22 years old and I feel like a teen age babysitter. I want to dress nicer but I dont know how nice a nanny should be dressing!! I dont want to show up at work and their parents look at me like I’m crazy for what I’m wearing.
So obviously no short skirts, or stilettos…
I’m just unsure of how I should be dressing.
What would you suggest? What did you wear as a nanny or what does your nanny/childcare provider wear?

If you want to have fun with the job, dress like a British nanny. Nice and acts as a uniform of sorts that defines your roll. If someone is rude to you, just send them to the naughty corner in your best formal British accent.
