Climbing Buckle
how do i keep my child in a car seat?
My Daughter is almost 3 and she keeps undoing her car seat chest buckle and climbs out of her seat while im driving. we have tried to duct tape it but i think that’s dangerous if there’s ever an accident but her walking around if dangerous as well. she wants to sit in a big girl seat with a big girl seat belt but she is to small for a booster seat. we have tried talking and explaining to her how dangerous it is, tried time outs, alarms (she ripped them off). we tried everything we can think of. we spend more time on the side of the road doing her up again, then we do driving anymore. any suggestions?
we have switched car seats 3 times and shes using the built in car seat right now. This is the 4th different buckle
try turning the buckle backwards on the strap you will still be able to undo it but it will make it harder for her
